Tobolsk ECU
In Yamata’s Ethylene Cracke Unit Project in Tobolsk, Russia, a dedicated spool fabrication workshop was built and operated by Burak Sanayi. This workshop was the exclusive spool fabrication unit for the entire piping works within Yamata’s scope. In the shop, a total of approximately 260,000 weld diameter-inches of spools were fabricated. 70% of these spools were Carbon Steel, the remainder being Stainless Steel and P11 alloy.
Burak Sanayi was also involved in the installation of pipe spools on site, most of which were connections to the units. The total installations completed were a little shy of 30,000 wdi.
